About the SDCO

Founded in 2005, the Springfield-Drury Civic Orchestra is southwest Missouri’s regional civic orchestra. Comprising more than 100 talented professionals, students, and enthusiasts, the SDCO presents a yearly concert season of great orchestral masterworks.

Performances are held on the campus of Drury University (900 North Benton Avenue, Springfield, MO), Evangel University Chapel Auditorium, and at the Juanita K. Hammons Hall (Missouri State).

In recent years, the orchestra has been a prizewinner in the national American Prize Competition and collaborated with numerous regional artists and organizations.
